While on the island, we want you to make the most of your stay. To see it all, experience all the Vis island and Komiza can give.
Blue cave on the neighbouring island of Bisevo is one of the 20 most famous tourist attractions in Croatia and for sure among top 10 in the central Dalmatia. Thousands of tourist arrive by boats every day from the Dalmatia mainland and neighbouring islands to see this natural beauty. We are lucky enough to avoid peak tourist season, so our excurisions will be nothing but enjoyable and relaxing private tours.
Your accomodation in villas is only few steps away from the boats that will take us to the the famous Blue cave. It is 5 nautical miles away from Komiza so the ride will take about 40 minutes to get there. While in front of the cave, we will go to the smaller boats to enter the cave.
After that we will stay on the island of Bisevo and explore its beauty. Refreshments and lunch will be served at the organic family vineyard there. Option here is to walk to the sandy Porat beach or have a swim in the sea.
We will take a boat from the almost same point, only new steps from the villas and spend few hours admiring beauty of the nature around the island of Vis with the local captain. Our tour will be guided by the captain who know many stories and legends about the island. Depending on the weather, we will explore some bays and hidden beaches. As we get hungy the crew will serve us freshly prepared local vegetarian or fish dish on board. We will take a break for a swim if possible. The refreshments will be served on board as well.
We have returned again this year to enjoy great food and song. The best!

Fantastic day tour with Ames! We did a fantastic day tour including the beautiful Blue cave and Porat beach (amazing sandy beach!) with Ames tours. The husband and wife team were lovely, fun and informative about the island of Vis and surroundings.

"Blue cave", or Modra spilja is in category "must see" if you visit Vis or Hvar. The best way is to take a trip from Komiža (on island Vis) with travel agency "Ames". It will be a trip that you will remember for whole your life - I guarantee! They will take you to visit Modra spilja, Medveđa spilja (for me the best part of trip, but not for claustrophobic one!) and swimming on beach Porat on Biševo (one of the most beautiful beaches on Mediterenian) and if you want, they will serve you either fish "brudet" or tuna steak on the boat with domestic white wine.
